The Reflexology Association of California recommends that you thoroughly verify the credentials and training of any establishment that you go to for Reflexology. Ask to see the reflexologist's certifications. Beware of establishments that advertise "foot massage" as they are, most likely, not providing real reflexology.
None of the statements about reflexology on this website have been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration nor the American Medical Association. The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health includes reflexology in their index of health topics. Reflexology is not a substitute for medical attention; consult a physician.
